HSC Drama Students Step OnStage
Release Date: 29-Nov-2010 | Go Back
Five Year 12 HSC Drama students have been invited to perform their HSC Group Performance at OnStage, the 2010 Board of Studies showcase for exemplary drama works, in February next year.
The five students, Zoe Kouros, Hannah Bamford, Georgie Frolich, Misha Devlin-Smith and Grace Farrell, were selected for an outstanding HSC group performance; a work titled “Homosapien”, which explores the absurdity and extremities of emotions in relation to how we use them to give meaning to our lives.“Each year, our HSC students work really hard to produce high quality performances,” says Drama teacher, Kelly Young. “We were thrilled that a group from Roseville College was nominated, and are especially proud that Roseville girls will perform at OnStage.”
“These five girls are amazing in rehearsals and deserve this honour. As they devised their piece of theatre, they were quite playful; but focussed,” Ms Young adds. “They clearly have fun together, showing great willingness to listen to each other and allowing one another’s strengths to be shown”.
