School fees alone do not provide the funds needed to secure our goals for the future of Roseville College.
Your gift will enable us to grow funds to invest in our school’s facilities and to support scholarships that would otherwise not be available at our school.
At Roseville, we have a wonderful history of giving financially and the first known bequest to the College was to discharge a long-standing mortgage of the School’s first building. The bequest was a provision in the will of our founder, Miss Isobel Davies, who was also the College’s first and longest serving Headmistress.
The legacy of this philanthropy is that every girl at our school is the beneficiary of gifts made by past staff, parents and alumni. Recognising this history, our community continue the legacy of generosity by making gifts that benefit our students.
Every gift, no matter its size, when combined with all the gifts from our small community, can make a significant impact for our school and our girls.
The Roseville College Foundation
The purpose of the Roseville College Foundation is to oversee long-term financial support for the development of the school’s tangible assets and acquisitions, and to enrich life at the College through school community funded initiatives and projects, such as the Foundation Scholarship.
Roseville College, through the Anglican School Corporation, is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Gifts made to Roseville College’s deductible gift recipient (DGR) funds may be tax deductible.
The Roseville College Foundation Committee is a volunteer group who provide advice and support to the College in its fundraising efforts. The Committee is appointed by the Principal of Roseville College with members drawn from the parent body, the alumni community or the broader Roseville College network. Operationally, the Foundation is managed by the Director of Development and Community Engagement, who is a member of the Roseville College staff.
Areas to Support
The Building Fund
The Roseville College Building Fund was established to provide money for the acquisition, construction and maintenance of buildings for Roseville College.
The buildings we use today are testament to the philanthropy of previous generations and with your help, we can continue to offer facilities to our girls to support them in Realising Purpose though their education at Roseville College. The Joy Yeo Auditorium, the School Library and the Assembly Hall are wonderful recent examples of building projects supported the generosity of our community.
A gift to the Building Fund is tax deductible.
The buildings and facilities that Roseville College students, staff and parents enjoy bear testament to the Roseville community over many years. Previous building fund donations have been directed to:
- The Joy Yeo Centre
- New Middle School and Junior School
- New Science and Language laboratories
- Music and Drama rehearsal spaces
- Creative Arts Complex.
These are typical of projects that the Building Fund supports and through further help from our community, we will be able to provide ongoing state-of-the-art facilities that will enhance the learning experience of current and future students of Roseville College.Donate
The Scholarship Fund
The Roseville College Scholarship Fund provides money for scholarships, bursaries and prizes to promote education at Roseville College.
Roseville College scholarships are offered to girls entering Senior School. With an emphasis on equipping each girl to realise her purpose in life, our Scholarship Program is valued for its role in supporting excellence in learning, such as participation in initiatives like the internationally accredited Cambridge Courses in Years 9–10.
Roseville College scholarships are based on academic merit and financial need.
A gift to the Scholarship Fund is tax deductible and will contribute to giving a girl an education she may not have otherwise had the opportunity to receive.Donate
The Library Fund
The Roseville College Library Fund was established to raise money for the school Library to add to, preserve and maintain its collection and make it available for use.
Our library is at the heart of the school and is a source of information and inspiration as girls access the comprehensive resources it contains. Our Library is also a meeting place where our students come to read, discuss and contemplate while surrounded by the wonderful knowledge contained in its books.
A gift to the Library Fund is tax deductible.Donate
You may wish to give a gift to Roseville College without a specified purpose. These donations are able to be used at the College's discretion where it is most needed.
Please note, that as donations of this kind fall outside the remit of our Deductible Gift Recipient charitable Funds, they will not be tax deductible.Donate
