Junior School Curriculum

The curriculum at Roseville College offers an enriching program of learning. A firm foundation is provided in all the Key Learning Areas:

• English (reading, writing, spelling, grammar, listening and speaking skills)
• Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) including French and Christian Studies
• Mathematics
• Science and Technology
• Creative Arts - Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Drama
• Personal Development, Health and Physical Education

All subjects are taught with creativity and flair and each girl is encouraged to learn through discovery and to develop critical and creative thinking skills. Every girl at Roseville grows through the personal challenges set by her and for her. Specialist teachers in French, Music, Information Technology, Information Skills and Physical Education provide high quality education in each of their fields.

A String program for Year 3 students provides an opportunity for every girl to learn either the Violin, Viola, or the Cello
