Junior School Co-curricular Program

image

Music is a special focus in our co-curricular program. Girls enjoy Junior Band, String Ensemble, Intermediate Band, String Orchestra and Choir. They have access to peripatetic instruction in piano, brass, wind and string instruments. All girls in the Junior School have the opportunity to perform individually or as a member of a group at weekly assemblies, musical performance evenings and special occasions such as Alumnae Reunion Days.

Other stimulating co-curricular activities are offered at every level. These are very popular and are offered during lunchtime, before and after school. Activities include: Crusaders, Gould League, the Technology Club, Chess, Drama Club, and Dance.

Roseville Junior School girls also participate in activities that encourage them to think globally and are challenged personally through participation in Debating, the Tournament of Minds and The da Vinci Decathlon.

The annual camp gives each girl in Years 3 to 6 the opportunity to achieve her personal best while learning to encourage and support her peers. Through this camping program, girls discover and develop their leadership qualities.
