Please be aware that the following information may be collected by the College as a result of your visit to our website:

  • A record of your visit to our website may be automatically logged for the purposes of statistical analysis. This may include the date and time of your visit, the pages accessed, documents downloaded, the previous site visited, and information about your computer software and hardware such as your server address, domain name, IP address, and type of browser used. Any email correspondence you send us will also contain your email address.
  • Information that websites store on your hard-disk, known as “cookies”, may be recorded with a session (numbered key), duration and other unique identifiers such as preferences. These can be linked back to log-in identification if you enter a username/password to access secured areas. 
  • If accessing secured areas to notify the school of a change to details, it is implicit that personal information will subsequently be collected such as your name, family members, home/postal/email addresses, home/work/mobile numbers and other personal information such as gender, age, postcode and responses to specific prompts.
  • Information gathered from surveys and questionnaires may capture unique identifiers such as log-in identification if conducted online. If a formal response to an inquiry or comment is expected by you, please ensure you include your name, email address and the best telephone number for follow-up.
  • The College may provide links from our website to other websites. We do not accept responsibility for the content or policies of such sites. 
  • The above information may be used for statistical and business analysis conducted by Roseville College or a contracted organisation under confidentiality restraints, and to deliver services described or requested. Roseville College does not share, sell or otherwise make personal information available to non-Roseville College entities for profit or other gain unless required to do so by law or conscience that such action is necessary.
  • Personal information you supply online or in relation to e-Media such as email and other technologies will be used by Roseville College in conducting standard operating practises at the school, including student administration, staff services and provision of information to employees of Roseville College, enrolment and employment enquiries, and to maintain contact with ex-students, ex-staff, service providers/suppliers and other customers and stakeholders of Roseville College. Please contact Student Services, Community Relations or the Old Girls’ Union regarding the use and publication of personal information such as email addresses for the purpose of building and maintaining networks among members. Your IP address may also be used to diagnose problems and undertake troubleshooting in relation to your access to and use of our website.
  • If you participate in a chatroom, forum, message board, bulletin board or other interactive service on the Roseville College website, please consider any information disclosed in these areas as public information, even if within the secure username/password areas of the site/s. Roseville College does not take responsibility for disclosure of personal information which is offered at the discretion of service users.
